sessionmux

A two-panel, keyboard-only switcher for Claude Code sessions, in one terminal.

The left panel is the live terminal of the selected Claude Code session; the right panel lists your running and recent conversations, grouped by working directory. Move between sessions with the keyboard, start a new conversation in the current directory, and close the ones you are done with — without leaving the terminal or juggling tabs.

Install

pip install sessionmux      # or: uv tool install sessionmux

Python 3.11+. Runs a Textual terminal UI.

Run

sessionmux
